Ibis Surabaya City Center

Good location close to the city center, some great restaurants nearby e.g. Black Owl. We had to go without breakfast for two mornings because the tours started very early. The only breakfast we enjoyed was good, buffet-style, but the coffee machine is too complicated to operate and without previous experience with such a device or outside help, you can't make good coffee.

We're 2 adults with 3 and 6 year old kids. We stayed 3 nights. The room spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff is nice and very helpful. There are two water refill stations in the corridor - great! The hotel location is perfect for us. It's in the center of the city and just 10 minute drive to the old town of Surabaya (Pasar Atom, Peneleh, etc). There is Indomaret convenient store just next to the hotel to buy snacks, medicine and coffee. Just across the hotel is Gramedia bookstore, very big and has a good collection of art supplies and books.

no frills and easy to access. staff was fantastic. cleanliness is to be credited - very impressive for a hotel in the city centre. having stayed at some 3.5 star hotels with lousy cleanliness, its a welcome breath of fresh air to stay at Ibis Surabaya. There is a convenience mart next door for fruits and daily necessities.

I stayed with my dauther for 4 days in November. The room, service were really greate, the personel was very polite and helpful. The menu in the restaurant was rather tasty and various. There is a spacious foyer and reception desk, it was never overcrowded.

My mom was the one staying in the property. She said that the room/hotel was great and she had a pleasant stay. She mentioned that the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Iskandar (if not mistaken) who helped her printing some documents during her late check-in. She actually ended up staying for 1 more night at the hotel to catch an early flight to Bali the next day. Thanks for the hospitality!
